Meditation

Buddhist meditation is a precise method of working with mind. Through meditation the idea of perceiving the reality in above personal way becomes a real experience. Meditation gives our mind a balance, makes it independent of changing conditions and transforms disturbing feelings into wisdom. Diamond Way methods use the language of symbols in order to give a practitioner an access to her/his own, unlimited potential. They work on the basis of direct transmission from a realized teacher. Scientifically proven, positive effect of Buddhist meditation is a widely recognized phenomena.

Meditation of  the XVI Karmapa

The 16th Karmapa meditation is the main practice in our centre. By means of identification with the teacher, it enables the full realization of mind’s absolute nature, which is the goal of every Buddhist meditation. This is group, guided meditation and everyone can take part in it. It lasts about half an hour and doesn’t require any preparation, knowledge of complicated scriptures or wearing special clothes. The meditation is free of charge and is guided in Polish language.

Individual practice

Apart from group meditations our centre is open during most of the year for people doing their individual practices. The majority of our friends is doing so called four preliminary practices (Ngondro). One can get the explanation to these practices during courses with travelling teachers, from more experienced friends in the centre or during meditation courses with Lama Ole Nydahl.

The four preliminary practices are powerful Diamond Way meditations which goal is to purify body, speech and mind from negative impressions and to fill mind with positive impressions and open oneself to the blessing of Enlightenment, which – in Diamond Way Buddhism – is represented by realised Lama.

You can get the explanations for short refuge meditation every Tuesday at 7pm. during introductory lectures conducted by more experienced sangha members.
